Special Issues - Instructions
If you are interested to propose the possibility of a special issue, please, contact the Editor-In-Chief, Stephanie Rudwick.
The proposers should clarify why the issue is to be of interest to Modern Africa: Politics, History and Society and ideally add a prospectus including the details of probable contributors.
If accepted, every proposal for a special issue will be reviewed by the home Editors (Editor-In-Chief and Executive Editor and, in some cases, members of the editorial board) of the journal to assist the Guest Editor(s) and ensure the quality of the peer-review process and the finalisation of the issue.
The articles of the special issue are subject to the same rules and peer-review process as any other article submitted to the journal and have to follow author guidelines and ethical statements (see at Author style and Ethical Statement).
