Daniela Mosaad Pěničková, Anglo-American University, Prague, The Czech Republic

Medical anthropologist with a long term research interest in comparative studies of medical/healing systems across different civilizations. She had researched Western Apache ways of authentic healing in the context of Western concepts of mental health focusing on culturally sensitive treatment of pathological gambling. Since 2013 she has been working for the Office of the Czech Government in the field of social inclusion and lectures at the Anglo-American University in Prague.
